LuckTick Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
In short: LuckTick doesn't collect or upload any of your data. Your profile and Health data stay on your own Apple Watch.
LuckTick ("the app") is a daily-fortune app for Apple Watch. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
1. We don't collect your data
The app has no accounts, connects to no developer server, and contains no ads, analytics or tracking. The developer never receives, stores or sells any of your personal information.
2. Information kept on your watch
To compute your readings, the app stores the following on your Apple Watch only:
- the nickname, birth date, birth time and gender you enter, and an optional birthplace (city name, coordinates and time zone);
- your chosen method, interface language and notification settings;
- your daily card history and bedtime reflections (your mood and an optional note).
This stays on the watch (in storage shared with the app's complications) and is never uploaded. Deleting the app, or clearing your data in the app's Settings, removes all of it.
3. Health data
With your permission, the app has read-only access to sleep, steps, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate in Health. It uses them on the watch to calibrate the day's score, give suggestions and detect when you wake up for the morning notification. Health data is never written, uploaded, shared, or used for advertising or marketing. You can turn off access at any time in the Health app on iPhone.
4. Birthplace search
When you search for a birthplace, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps (MapKit) to find matching cities, under Apple's Privacy Policy. The app stores only the chosen city's name, coordinates and time zone, on the watch.
5. Other permissions
- Notifications: morning fortune, encouragements and the bedtime reflection, generated on the watch.
- Compass: the lucky-direction screen reads the magnetic heading without using your location.
- Network: used only for the optional birthplace search.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
